Terms & Conditions

2.1 All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT and comprehensive insurance unless otherwise stated.

2.2 A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, as selected during the reservation process.

2.3 A security deposit, the amount of which is confirmed at the time of booking, must be paid prior to collection or delivery of the vehicle.

2.4 Payment is processed securely through our payment partner. We do not store your card details.

2.5 Optional extras are charged as itemised in your booking summary.

3.1 The daily rental includes a mileage allowance of 150 miles per calendar day.

3.2 Exceeding the daily allowance will result in additional charges, clearly stated in the rental invoice and deducted from the deposit.

4.1 If you cancel less than 72 hours before the rental start date, Avec Voitures reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the booking deposit, reflecting genuine pre-estimated losses.

4.2 No cancellation fees will be charged where Avec Voitures is unable to provide the vehicle as booked.

4.3 Amendments to dates, locations, and extras are free of charge up to 48 hours before pickup, subject to availability.

4.4 If Avec Voitures is unable to fulfil a booking, a full refund will be issued and no further liability shall arise.

5.1 The vehicle must be operated in accordance with all UK road traffic laws and regulations.

5.2 The vehicle must not be used for racing, track days, off-road driving, hire, reward, courier services, taxi work, ridesharing, or any illegal activity.

5.3 Smoking, vaping, and the transport of pets are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle unless prior approval has been granted by Avec Voitures.

5.4 The vehicle must not be taken outside the United Kingdom without prior written consent from Avec Voitures.

5.5 The lead driver is responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, congestion charges, tolls, and other penalties incurred during the hire period. Administrative fees may be charged for handling penalty notices.

5.6 The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel or charge as when collected or delivered. A refuelling charge plus an administrative fee applies otherwise.

6.1 Vehicles must be returned by the agreed date and time.

6.2 Late returns are charged at £25 per hour (or part thereof) beyond the scheduled return time, deducted from the deposit.

7.1 The security deposit may be used to cover insurance excess, damage beyond fair wear and tear, missing equipment, fuel shortages, excess mileage, late return charges, and fines or penalties incurred during the rental.

7.2 Deposits are processed and released within 10 working days of the vehicle's return, subject to inspection and any third-party charges.

7.3 Damage is assessed in accordance with the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Guide. Any damage beyond fair wear and tear will be charged to the lead driver.

7.4 Comprehensive insurance is included with every reservation, subject to an insurance excess. The applicable excess is disclosed prior to the start of the rental and confirmed in the booking confirmation.

7.5 All vehicles are covered by AA roadside assistance. In the event of an accident, the lead driver must inform Avec Voitures and, where required, the police immediately.

7.6 Damage must be reported to Avec Voitures immediately. Failure to do so may void insurance cover.

8.1 Avec Voitures shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from the hire of a vehicle.

8.2 Avec Voitures' total liability shall not exceed the total booking value paid by the customer.

8.3 Avec Voitures is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

9.1 These Terms & Conditions are issued by Avec Voitures Limited (company number 16722831), 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, and are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

9.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
