The minimum age to hire is 21. Certain vehicles require a higher minimum age (25, 28 or 30) depending on category, clearly indicated on each vehicle's detail page.

Yes, but the lead driver must be present at collection with their documents. The vehicle may only be driven by the lead driver named in the booking unless an additional driver has been expressly authorised in writing by Avec Voitures.

We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends and seasonal periods. However, we accept same-day bookings subject to availability.

Yes. Comprehensive insurance is included with every reservation, subject to an insurance excess. The applicable excess is disclosed to you before the start of the rental and confirmed in your booking confirmation.

We process all payments securely, accepting all major credit and debit cards. You may pay a deposit to secure your reservation or settle the full amount at booking.

No. Our pricing is fully transparent and inclusive of insurance, VAT, and 150 miles per calendar day. Excess mileage and any optional extras are clearly itemised in your booking summary before payment.

A security deposit, the amount of which is confirmed at the time of booking, must be paid prior to collection or delivery of the vehicle. Deposits are released within 10 working days of return, subject to inspection and any third-party charges.

Yes. Vehicles may be delivered to and collected from your chosen address. A delivery and/or collection fee applies, based on distance and logistics, and is confirmed at the time of booking. Select 'Delivery & Collection' during booking.

Vehicles must be returned by the agreed date and time. Late returns are charged at £25 per hour (or part thereof) beyond the scheduled return time, deducted from the deposit.

The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel or charge as when it was collected or delivered. If returned with less, a refuelling charge at current market rates plus an administrative fee will apply.

Vehicles must not be taken outside the United Kingdom without prior written consent from Avec Voitures. Please notify us at booking so we can arrange the necessary insurance documentation where consent is granted.

Booking deposits are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed, except where cancellation rights apply under applicable consumer protection law. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the rental start date, we reserve the right to retain up to 50% of the booking deposit. No cancellation fees apply where we are unable to provide the vehicle as booked.

Yes. You may amend dates, locations, and extras free of charge up to 48 hours before pickup, subject to availability. Contact our team to make changes.

Refunds and deposit releases are processed back to the original payment method within 10 working days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
